The Global ABS Legal Clinics
An activity developed in the framework of implementation of the UNDP-GEF Global ABS Project
Are you an indigenous or local community currently involved in the negotiation of an ABS agreement?
Send us your request to the ABS Legal Clinics and we will strive to provide timely and appropriate support in order to bring equality in the negotiation process of ABS agreements and contracts. This service aims to cover some of the demands from indigenous peoples and local communities expressed during the negotiation of the Nagoya Protocol, to create an ombudsman-like entity on ABS to support and address issues and complaints related to indigenous peoples and local communities.
Are you a national competent authority or focal point of the Nagoya Protocol with doubts or problems in the finalization of your ABS legal system or in the middle of an ABS negotiation?
Send us your request to the ABS Legal Clinics and we will strive to provide timely and appropriate support in order to review and finalize your ABS legal system or help you in the negotiation of an ABS agreement.
