The UNDP-GEF Global ABS Project has released “Final Report 2017-2021. Making ABS Work for ALL“, a publication that looks into the main results achieved in the implementation of the Nagoya Protocol on access and benefit sharing in 23 countries through a four-year period.
As a proposal for a second phase of the UNDP-GEF Global ABS Project is elaborated to increase the necessary capacities of governmental institutions, researchers,
indigenous peoples and local communities, as well as private sector, to implement effective and efficient national ABS systems
