Introduction to the Nagoya Protocol on Access and Benefit Sharing in the UK

The University of Aberdeen and the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy are hosting a webinar, via MS Teams, to introduce the Nagoya Protocol on Access and Benefit Sharing legislation implemented in the UK, as well case studies focussing on academic research conducted in the UK involving genetic resources.

The aim of this webinar is to provide knowledge and tools to identify genetic resources in-scope of the compliance measures in the UK and to explain the steps required to seek, keep and transfer genetic resources, associated traditional knowledge and related ABS documentation in line with the compliance measures.
